About OAR

The Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) is an office in the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) that manages projects, programs, and activities for the alumni. It serves as the principal platform of the University to connect with its alumni in the country and abroad, and likewise for alumni to connect with other alumni. It links with individual alumni and alumni associations locally and abroad to foster lifelong engagement, interest, and concern for the University.

The OAR was established in 2006 after existing as a special committee to assist the Chancellor in alumni matters for a decade.

Today, the OAR continues to organize activities in the annual UPV Homecoming, partnering with even more alumni associations, organizations, colleges, and offices each year. It also assists in organizing other alumni activities held in the campus. 

OAR continues to develop better engagement opportunities with the alumni and provide a place where they can feel how it is to be "home" again.
